Injured hand
I punched a door after 9 weeks ago. There was severe pain and swelling the next day but it was fully functional. After the swelling, I continued to have pain in my palm(on my pinky side) when pushing things. I also have pain along the back side of my hand from the base of my pinkys knuckle to my wrist when moving my hand in circles or flicking my wrist- basketball. I had it x rayd 2 weeks ago and nothing is broken. Docs advice-2 weeks rest. What could I have injured and how can I help it heal?

It seems to be a ligament injury that's why u hv been advised rest. During this time u can do icing, take rest, apply compression bandage, and keep d part elevated. Can even do some isometrics . In case of discomfort Pls contact ur nearest physiotherapist.  U can also consult me online.
