Keep regular control of blood sugar by regular monitoring.blood pressure should also be checked.recommended diet in renal insufficiency is avoidence of excess of protein.it should mainly come from complex carbohydrates,
Consult a dietician for making a detailed chart for her,as she has diabetes too.
Calcium and vitamin D supplementation is beneficial.
