Inguinal hernia + Missing right testicle
I had left orchidopexy done when I was young. At that time my right testicle was retractile. Now I am having right inguinal hernia and my Right testicle is not in scrotum . It was even not found in sonography .I consulted with a general surgeon. He said along with the hernia surgery we should get the right testicle fixed. He is suggesting a CT scan to find the position of testicle. Should I get it done and what type of CT scan would it be.

If general surgeon is not able to palpate testis and even not seen in ultrasound, it is better to get MRI pelvis to locate testis.
