Hello.
HPV vaccine, especially Gardasil 9 is a vaccine against 9 strains of HPV, i.e. Human Papilloma Virus. This is a virus most commonly transmitted by sexual contact in the genital tract and can cause ano-genital warts as well as cervical cancer in women. HPV vaccine helps reduce and prevent the risk of developing cervical cancer and hence is highly recommended for people between the ages of 15-45 years.
You can consult any gynecologist for the same and they will provide you with a prescription for the vaccine as well as administer it.
You have to take 3 doses of the vaccine at 0, 2 months and 6 months. Kindly consult with a gynecologist for the same.
