I have a Vaginal yeast infection with lot of itching in the area and a white thick discharge. Can you recommend a cream to improve the situation

A cream would not aid in the complete resolvement of the issue. For the time being you can apply candid cream . You would need oral and local medication to make a better recovery.
Health Tips
do not keep washing the area  , wear loose garments.
