There is no specific time frame for that. You must avoid taking that as much as possible and if you are taking you must restrict use to less than 2 weeks. Find out the cause of pain and treat the cause. Avoid dehydration and alcohol while on this. Also take ulcer prevention like pantaprazole or omeprazole
