Incase of carrying genetic disease
I have a parental history of myotonic dystrophy type 2 (my mother). I am not sure if I am a carrier of the same, I would like to know if it is possible to check if my gene carries the disease., and incase that I carry, I would like to know how I can stop from passing on to the next generation. Need suggestions about where to start, what are the tests to be done, where should the tests be done, what may be the solutions before we start planning for a baby. Thanks.
