You could be having contact dermatitis. This happens when your skin comes in contact with strong chemicals like detergents or other agents in your place of work which you are allergic to. Ideal treatment would be to identify the agent and abstain or refrain from their use. Local soothing agents and steroid creams would be very helpful. Visit a dermatologist for confirmation of your diagnosis and subsequent treatment.
