Previously fit, active male 35. Woke and tried to jog up stairs and to work as usual. Immediate sharp pain in abdomen. Combined at same time had coughing fits and sharp pain in side. Was diagnosed with direct inguinal hernia, but told this would not cause the running pain. Hernia pain subsided, but running pain did not.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
You can start by taking tab. pantakind-D once a day half an hour before food for 3 days.
Don't workout too much at a time.
Take things slowly and gradually increase the intensity.
Consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management.
Best regards.
Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
