ILD Infective rtiology ?
Bilateral apical pluearal thickening seen with few tiny fibrocalcific opacities in right upper zone. Actually above is doctor's remark after my chest x-ray. His impression is Finding suggestion of ild infective etiology. Pls. advise me further on this with detail.

Interstitial lung disease describes a large group of disorders characterized by progressive scarring of the lung tissue between and supporting the air sacs. Once lung scarring occurs, it's generally irreversible. Medications may slow the damage of interstitial lung disease, but many people never regain full use of their lungs.
