Iam a diabetes and Hypertension patient
Iam using metformine 500 mg in the morning before breakfast and voglibose 0.3 mg in the lunch. Do they work independently or together. What will be the results on my diabetes if i use in this way

They work independently by different mechanisms. There are no extra side effects of taking them together at the dose you are on. Metformin 500 and voglibose 0.3 once daily are small doses. My usual practice is to start on drug metformin- maximise dose and then start second drug if necessary
