Every sleeping pill can be dangerous. Lethal dose depends on the strength of specific compound in that specific pill/brand. Overdose can be an emergency and a visit to ER is must in all suspected cases of overdose.

Lethal doses of sleeping pills varies from drug to drug. Each drug has its own lethal dose and adverse effects. Central nervous system and respiratory system are the main systems that can be adversely effected by overdose of sedatives(sleeping pills).
If something happens it happens within half an hour to 1 hr. U need to take the patient to the hospital immediately. Even if the patient doesn’t die there will be complications
