I might be going through depression
It's been more than a year, I have no sense of direction, I always feel sad. I have no energy to do anything. Plus I have alopecia aerata which has made it worse.

Hello, I hear you and it seems like you are going through a difficult time. It's okay to feel the way you are feeling. The information you have provided is limited. To explore, understand and clarify your feelings you can book a session with me via practo. Alternatively you can try writing down your feelings in a book or a diary to understand them better. You can also try making a daily routine. Start your day by making a to-do list, make the goals small and achievable. Whenever you are done with one thing from your to do list reward yourself. Try engaging in activities that makes you happy like drawing, dancing, singing, writing etc. You can also join support groups for alopecia aerata. Some of support groups are: https://www.smartpatients.com/forums/alopecia https://www.naaf.org/

This is not an easy situation for you.though if you seek help from a counselor , they may guide you on mind management. Based on what you have written it’s too little to evaluate the situation. If you can add few healthy habits in your routine and discuss the concern with a counselor . It will be good for you
