Before jumping to the treatment part we first need to establish the cause of the ulcer. If it is a traumatic ulcer it is likely to heal within 7 to 10 days. If the ulcer is due to any other cause it has to be evaluated clinically so that the right treatment can be suggested accordingly. Temporary symptomatic relief can be achieved if you use anaesthetic ointments like dologel CT. Unfortunately there are no medications which can cure a normal oral ulcer. Contrary to normal belief, multivitamins do not help to cure or treat an oral ulcer which has already formed. If the cause is something else like a viral etiology, antiviral medications can be prescribed but we would not like to go for any specific medication unless the diagnosis has been established beyond doubt. Please take Vitamin B Complex tablets. Ulcers maybe due to lifestyle changes and stress related. Please figure out that and try to change it
