I just got AIDS

I just got AIDS. I want to know about my options now. How much time does an average guy lives with AIDS? As I know I am going to die soon anyways so if I take medications now, will that help me in having a longer life? If yes, then how much? I know it can only be told by a doctor after check up but I want your options on it. Thankyou
