Hi I have TSH 10.19 in my recent report.. I was taken 50 mg till now do I need to increase the dosage to 75 or 100 to normalise TSH level..

You need to know two things before you change dose. 1. Did you fast for 12 hours( have early supper previous night and give early morning fasting sample) before giving blood sample for testing? 2. Was the test done at an NABL accredited Laboratory? If your answer is NO to any one of the above questions, please repeat the test. If YES to both, you could by a new bottle of Eltroxin 12.5mcg and take one 50mcg tablet and one 12.5mcg tablet daily in morning on empty stomach.
