I have irregular periods

I am unmarried . 25 yrs old . i have irregular periods for past 2 yr . u have thyroid i m taking tablet for that 25 mg . i consult a lady dr she gave 3 tablets 1. krimson 35 2. ovabless 3. metformin i m taking this for 3 months . again i consult doctor she told to continue . but i searched in net after stopping tablet this again it wil become irregular ? how long should i take ?
