Acne is a chronic skin condition which tends to relapse, especially if adequate maintenance skin care is not followed. What you describe sounds like inflammatory acne with whiteheads/blackheads. While diet and lifestyle may be contributing factors for your acne and redness, changing these alone would not help clear your skin. Please consult a doctor who would examine your skin and prescribe appropriate daily care products - such as a face wash, moisturizer and anti acne medication. If you have any dandruff this must also be treated.
Next Steps
Stop using soap on the face. Consult a skin expert.
Health Tips
Try not to touch the face often. Extraction of whiteheads and blackheads can often cause scarring and is thus not advisable.
