I have a two colours mole.
Hello! I have a question. 6months ago a noticed that I have a two coloured mole on my neck. I started worrying so I immediately went to a dermatologist. She checked all my moles and she told my not to worry cause my two coloured mole is perfectly symmetrical so she didn't offer me to remove it. I am teenager and in my age doctors don't really offer removing a mole. So it was 6 months ago and the mole didn't change at all. Do you think I have to worry or go back to the dermatologist?

Hello mam. There are around 5-6 criterias which we consider when we talk about a pre existing mole becoming bothersome or something to be worried about. If you are saying that a dermatologist has already checked and ruled this out, then there is less to worry. But keep observing it for change in colour, margins or any peculiar sensations. There is no issue in getting a mole removed at your age. Its perfectly fine. If you are finding the mole strange still, then do send me a picture by text for another opinion. Thank u

I dont think you need to worry if the doctor has already seen it and told its fine. Unless you want to remove the moles for cosmetic reasons. Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal. Bengaluru
