Hi Thanks for your query. From moles to warts, acne to milia, skin tags to cysts; lumps and bumps on the skin can appear in all sorts of shapes, sizes, colours and numbers. For that reason, it is essential that you visit your nearest dermatologist for get your lumps and bumps correctly diagnosed, so that the correct treatment is recommended. The dermatologist may take a biopsy of your lump to know the cause. The biopsy is a painless procedure where the dermatologist will take a skin sample under local anesthesia if required.
