I got heavy bleeding while on luprodex

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I got luprodex injected on 19 Sept and I got spotting on 1 Oct which actually was my date for periods. It got over on the third day. A week later I got spotting for first two days and got heavy flow on the third day. It was supposed to hold my periods but instead I got it and that too before completion of 1 month when I took that injection. Is this something serious?

Luprodex can cause irregular bleeding in some cases, but it induces amenorrhoea also. But to rule out other causes of heavy bleeding on luprodex some more history is needed. Observe if further bleeding o curs on leuprodex and connect with me online to discuss.
