I get oily dandruff
I m aged 35yrs working professional and i have to travel a 60kms everyday by public transport. I get lots of dandruff bt no significant hair loss. If i touch my scalp i feel its oily. No shampoo works. It only cleans n next day again dandruff come back. My hairs a partially grey. Very few scattered. Hair thin n brownish. As such i have to shampoo daily. I dont oil my hairs too. Even my face skin is oily specially around nose n cheeks. Kindly recommend some solution fr this dandruff.

You are giving history of excess seborrhea on scalp and face. Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we call dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp and have to be ruled out. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem. Please call me or contact me with photos through online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment.
