I get headaches when I take naps
When I take naps after school or softball practice, I've noticed that I get strange painful headaches on the left and right side of my head as soon as I wake up from the nap.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern. .You should definitely get it checked out.
So i would suggest you go to the ER as soon as possible so that a physical examination and a detailed history can be taken.
Based on that further plan of action can be formulated.
