Good afternoon doctor. my problem is oil skin on head as well as a my face.from the last 18 months,i faced this problem till continue.from the last six months i am not applying oil on my hair due to oil on my.one doctor suggested mildy everday shampoo used regularly,then i used for nearly 7months but the problem is continue.then i came back my home town then i concened another doctor.he was gave the ketoconazole zpto shampoo,trigaine shampoo, 10%salicylic acid +2%sulphur &1%certrimide shampoo.

This is called Seborrhoea and also causes excessive flaking on scalp and dandruff. Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we call dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp and have to be ruled out. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem. Please call me or contact me with photos through online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment.,
