Hypothyroidism mental pro
I am facing extreme mood swings since the last few months. Anxiety attacks r now frequent. Find it difficult to process emotions w/o going through tears. My hypothyroidism is being treated since almost a decade now. Is depression a part of side effect of hypothyroidism? My thyroid levels are within normal ranges.

Hello there. Since you have already mentioned that your thyroid levels are normal, you shouldn't be worried about thyroid. Regarding mood swings, depression etc, they are a completely different issue which need not be related to thyroid. You need to consult a psychiatrist and get yourself counselled. Regards
