Hello. Very Good evening. I'm Dr.Yogesh Kr Sharma. Hypoglycaemia is an acute dreaded emergency in which our blood glucose level Steeply Drops down below 60 mg/100 ml or some literature says below 40 mg/dl and patient should be taken to an emergency department and should be infused with 25% or 50%Hypertonic glucose solution, otherwise patient can go in to coma or die definitely if delayed arrival to hospital. Our brain depends upon glucose and oxygen. Deprivation of these two substances for more than 5 minutes can lead to irreversible brain Damage. It is often happening to Diabetic patients who has taken excessive insulin. May be taken Diabetic pills while Fasting. Hope you got your answer. Good luck.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Hypoglycemia means low blood sugar levels. Normal sugar levels are 90-140mg/dl. What all details do you want to know you need to mention that. You can read in Wikipedia it's a good article. There is only so much we can type here. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
