Hypertension Medicine Change ho
I was taking Cilacar T for high BP since long time and recently after a Cardiology Consultation , the doctor changed the medicine to CONCOR AM 5 twice daily based on Echo report:- ASCENDING AORTA DILATED 4.9 CMS. Taking Concor AM makes dizzy and tired. ( BP 110/90), HR 55-60 While taking Cilacar T was not having any issues despite palpitations. Is Concor category medicines are to be taken for aorta dilation.

Yes. Concor does help in progression of aortic dilation and reducing the need for surgery. Your symptoms are quite understandable.  You can discuss with your cardiologist and can considering the dose of concor.
