How to make the monthly periods regular.

I had PCOS and went through lap ovarian drilling in 2013. I have a child and he is 7 years old. My periods were regular but sometimes they tend to happen at 45th or 60th day. If I take the oral contraceptive, it regularizes and then again after few months goes for a toss.
