How to cure peptic ulcer
My uncle has high blood pressure, diabetes and now peptic ulcers as well. He is 56-years old and his deteriorating health worries the entire family. Currently we are looking for ways to cure his peptic ulcers. He is seeking natural or herbal treatments first. So can someone from the medical community please inform me of different types of treatment for this?

I would advise you to visit a gastroenterologist so that he can be assessed and treated accordingly. As your uncle has diabetes and elevated blood pressure he's in the high risk category where you need to be very careful with the treatment as all the parameters must be under control. The peptic ulcer should be controlled before it gets complicated such as bleeding ulcers. So kindly meet a gastroeneterologist and get the condition under control. These following steps may help: - Don't skip meals, you may not feel like eating but in such conditions you should have the reduced amount in frequent intervals(i.e. 3 square meals broken down to 5 or 6 as you can tolerate) and slowly increase as you get better. - Reduce/ Avoid spicy, fried, fatty, junk and oily food - Avoid/ Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once a day - Exercise regularly - Increase daily intake of water to 3liters - Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking - Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation. If the problem persists or worsens visit the ER at the earliest.
