I'm an rn and need a double ppd for a new job I'm starting. My dr gave me a ppd by stabbing my forearm at 90 degrees. I've given ppds for 3 years since I've become a nurse and never learned it this way nor have I received it like that either I've always done it intradermal. He's older like in his late 60s early 70s and swears this is the correct way he does that's how he was taught! I never heard of this before. Is it safe? I'm I gonna be protected? Will the results be accurate?
