My husband and I are expecting our very first child. I am 35-years old and have undergone 4 miscarriages earlier. We really want this time to be a successful one. Our doctor has suggested us karyotyping and we’re curious to know how is a karyotype made. Can any medical practitioner or expert in this field tell me how is a karyotype made? Your guidance would help us immensely!

karyotyping is chromosomal analysis by blood which is done prior to conception by your query what i understand is that.you have conceived now so better now is to check for chorionic villus biopsy at 8-9 wks .
