Me and my friend hired a hot tub. We both now have a chesty cough and sore throte could this be hot tub lung.

Need details like since how many days you are using that hot tub, how many days you are suffering from cough, other symptoms like breathlessness, fever etc., all are important for assessment. Better to consult a pulmonologist for complete evaluation and management.

Please provide the details of your cough since how ling are you suffering...  it is unlikely will be hot tub lung. But still undergo a thorough evaluation with a chest physician
