Hiv symptoms or viral fever
If someone has to go down with HIV illness , ( last exposure 2 years back ) would that person be having only fever, mild cough and chills and nothing else.I am down with fever and chills from last 7 days. Fever upto 102.8 to 103. Due to fever I am completely dehydrated. I am on IV at home , and I am taking DOLO and amoxicillin as medicines. I don't have swollen lymph nodes , diarrhea, rash . Just the fever and chills , when fever goes chills come and when chills go fever comes . I did widal , flu ,malaria and CBC tests . They are all normal , except CBC showing some infection. My boyfriend has had unprotected sex with someone 2 and a half years back and he had a HIV negative test 6 months after the exposure. Do these symptoms sound typical of hiv or is this just a viral infection which is taking long . I also did a USG it shows fatty liver and Enlarged spleen .
