Hi there.Crp is raised in many conditions involving infection or inflammation in our body. Causes include viral, bacterial infections, connective tissue disorder, during pregnancy, oral birth control pills, rheumatic fever, rheumatoid arthritis, heart attack, cancer.... Since recently you underwent cardiac surgery , Crp could be high because of it. Or your multiple joint pains( likely to be rheumatoid arthritis) could cause Crp to increase or fever with raised crp suggests infection . Please consult your physician soon.
