Higher BP levels
Hi all.Iam writing this in view of my increased bp Levels for the past 5-7 days.I normally don't check my BP but decided to do so out of curiosity. The readings are mostly over 140/90 despite taking medicines.the systolic reading was initially 150 but has come down to 140 but the diastolic reading is hovering in the 90's.Iam taking metpure xl 25 and advised telma 20 if bp shoots above 140.I don't have any symptoms yet. Also my 2d echo, TMT and ecg all are normal. Also my pulse rate is normal. Can anyone please advise how to get the bp reading below 120/80.

I would suggest you to get ambulatory BP monitoring to confirm the findings. You can consult with the report to proceed further.
