My uncle has gone through hernia operation. Prior to that he was suffering from high fever because of high WBC as Dr told to us. They controlled WBC, fever and did the operation of hernia. But after 4 days of operation again fever started and WBC also raised. Please advice.

High means many things ..an exact count would tell a lot more.post surgery mild fever with slightly raised wbc counts are normal..If there is a constant fever coupled with high Wbc count means he has a source of infection somewhere.. Since he is operated fr hernia firstly get the incision site checked .wound infections are common around that region..if not then look fr other causes, a consult with a physician might help
