High TSH in 9th month of pregnency
I am currently 37 + 6 days pregnent.Im on 50mcg eltroxin since preconception. My TSH levels have been normal throughout the pregnency however in the blood test done today it is at 5.9uiU/ml. I am really worried as the due date is nearing soon.will this have an adverse impact?

Don’t worry, it is unlikely to have any adverse effect on you or baby at this stage. Yes, it is slightly high ( normal upper limit is 3microIU for 3rd trimester). You need to meet your doctor and get dose of eltroxine adjusted.
