Hello mam , with regard to your age & number if you go for Lasik it'll be good for you , as you will be able to do everyday life activities at home & outside with less dependency on your glasses, given that your scans come out to be good.. but ofcourse because of your age I would suggest not to go for full correction and get -9 removed, but deliberately leave -1.5 behind, so that u don't habe reading difficulty also and your life would be so much better... But the first step to all this is corneal topography scan , and yes there is no relation between Lasik & cataract so don't worry Tc

Mam Post 40 you will be having presbyopia We can do lasik for you But again you will need glasses with in few years for near vision We need to know about your dry eye status refractive status since one year , cataract status Best possible option for you is refractive lens exchange for multifocal IOL. This will benefit you more than LASIK considering your age....

Usually Lasik is done at a very young age(20-22 years). You can undergo Lasik at this age but isn't recommended as you might develop a reading number after 40 years of age and you will need glasses anyways.
