High g6pd level
My grandmother suffered from bullous pemphigoid . through steriods it is cured now. Now to prevent this doctor prescribed dapsone tablet. For that she was told to do g6pd test. And the result was 18( high) . so can she have this tablet? Kindly advise.

I believe this question was posted earlier. I again suggest that you show the report to your treating dermatologist who asked you to do the test in the first place. The report should read 'sufficient levels ' and since it doesn't mention it and since I haven't personally seen the report you should take the report to your dermatologist please.
