High free t3, highfree t4 and high tsh
My 10 day old boy has free t3 5.37pg/mL, free t4 2.04ng/dl and tsh 11.3mlU/L. Kindly interpret the results and advise if treatment is required. He was a full term(40 weeks) baby, birth weight was 3.77 kg and was delivered via c section.

Ft4 values are normal, TSH in borderline range for age cut off. Recommendation would be to repeat the values of TSH after 2 weeks ; if less than 10 then it is considered as transient and if levels persist beyond 10 then would require thyroid scan and further evaluation.
