High ESR mean?
I have allergies and I lead a sedentary lifestyle. Got my blood test done. Haemoglobin and Thyroid is fine. But got a high ESR, a little elevated WBC count and basophils as 0. What does this mean? Do I need to be concerned or can this go away by leading a better lifestyle?

High ESR denotes distruction of tissue in the body. Raised WBC count shows presence of infection in the body. Both go hand in hand. Apart taking treatment for infection , you have to increase immunity levels in the body by doing regular physical exercises daily like brisk walking for an hour. Take well balanced diet with plenty of leaffy vegetables and fresh fruits. Drink plenty of water
