High CRP level
Actually my daughter is of 7 yrs age, yesterday during blood test, we got her CRP level 65, quite higher, doctor gave antibiotics for three days, but I want to know, is it very dangerous, how adverse the effect of this, or is it quite normal or curable, by the way she has no inflammation in her body, please need your advice

Hello, . C reactive protein (Crp) we do in children with fever. This crp indicates ,on going infection or inflammation(reaction of immune system to any infection or injury, could be fever, viral or bacterial infection, etc) in body, but it is not specific to any disease . your daughter crp is positive, and she had prescribed medicines. Please continue the medications. falling crp levels, after the completion of prescribed medicines tells, she is getting better.
