High bilirubin level

Asked for Female, 28 Years

Hello my boyfriend just got the blood test which showed the level of bilirubin of 7. He is 67. Could it be that he has hepatitis? And since I have had sex with him could I have gotten it too? The doctoe said that there might be because of gallstones. But he still has to check to make sure. Can I still have sex with him? Am I at risk?
