  4. Hiccups not stopping. Please.

Hiccups not stopping
My father is getting hiccups after every few minutes and keeps up for 4-5 minutes continuously. Drinking water not working. Stars after every few minutes. Had a checkup but not worked. Any suggestions please.

Hiccups are caused by irritation of the diaphragm due to any cause. Drug treatment is not very effective. You may try tab reglan or mucaine gel  which are effective in some people.
