Hi.. Due to this pandemic almost every doctor is not doing physical examination of body part related to surgery like Piles , hernia etc. How to know, whether my hernia is currently ok and when do I need operation? If can wait for few months to let the pandemic go down or not ?

depends on various factors for hernia needs urgent operation like pain in the site of swelling,  redness over swelling, swelling was not decrease in size in lying down position, toxic feature of patient......and also some precipitating factors like constipation ,old age, chronic cough...
