Hi,
Recently newer drugs (sofosbuvir) have come up for treatment of Hepatitis C and it seems to be quite effective. It has added benefit of shorter duration and pan genotypic activity.
You should contact your gastroenterologist and get her clinically examined and relevant investigations done. She may also needs to get evaluated for eligibility of drug.
