Hemoglobin level is less
My kid is 9 months. He got food poisoning n started vomiting n motions. We admitted to a hospital. Vomiting is gone but motions is there When blood test is done we come to know hemoglobin level is 10.1. Doctor is suggesting blood transfusion. And also said he has lactose intolerance. Is blood transfusion is necessary?

No. At 10.1 Hb no transfusion is required.

Hello blood transfusion is not necessary if he is dehydrated fluids should help and hb level will increase in the future depends upon diet and lifestyle kindly take second opinion from other paediatrician regarding blood transfusion.
