Heartburn problem
I am 33 yrs old last year i am feeling heartburn issue .then endoscopy done by gastrologist. H pylori predicted and doctor said i have some infectikn due to hpylori .. i complete antibiotic course for 15 days after 8 month i am feeling same problem. Gastro doctor give ppi for 15 days . Now he add one tablet pregabalin 75mg methylcobalamin 1 tablet at night for 1 month and ppi in morni g.. why he add pregabalin?

If you are having drug resistance
To initial line of treatment
Hp kit
Amox and clarithro
Your symptoms will not resolve
So what you need to do is
Get either stool antigen test for h pylori or 13 c urea breath test
If any of this is positive
You might need 2nd line hp kit therapy
