Heart problems
I am lactating mother.I have been diagnosed during my pregnancy with heart related problems but no medication advised since then. Now i m lactating.can I be able to take medicine for heart disease.

Hello there... Breastfeeding decreases a woman's risk of heart disease and diabetes .. If you breastfed for more than six months during your lifetime, you will less likely to have a heart attack or stroke....As you are already been diagnosed with the heart disease, you should consider medications prescribed by your doctor... Medications prescribed will not affect the breast feeding infant....Consult cardiologist for further evaluation and treatment....
