Heart problem
Hi Can ECG detect a blocked artery , are there any signs on the ECG. I had a ECG 2 weeks ago and I don't know if my heart is ok. I was asked to get more tests like pro-NT-BNP , insulin resistance , lipid , kft to get a full picture. Please suggest.

Yes, there are some ECG changes in case of blocked coronary. Your symptoms and prior risk factors, rather than only your ECG and others, guide your management and investigations needed. So, if you have any cardiological symptoms, do consult a physician/cardiologist.
